What this Journey Looks Like

You’ll have the opportunity to join an international project where you’ll work alongside distributed engineering teams, contributing to the development and evolution of backend systems and applications.

Depending on the project, you may work on API development, backend integrations, cloud-based solutions, databases, automation, and scalable architectures.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, taking ownership of their work, and contributing beyond simply completing assigned tasks.

What You'll Lead and Build

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Python.

• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.

• Develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend solutions.

• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and other cross-functional teams.

• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to solution design.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing backend systems.

• Contribute to testing, documentation, code reviews, and development best practices.

• Take ownership of your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of the product and engineering environment.

What You Bring to the Table

• Professional experience in backend development with Python.

• Hands-on experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services.

• Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

• Familiarity with Git and modern software development practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and technical curiosity.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.

• Advanced English to communicate confidently with international teams.

Nice to have:

• AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Docker and/or Kubernetes.

• Microservices architectures.

• CI/CD.

• Serverless architectures.

• Infrastructure as Code.

• AI/LLM integrations.

• German language skills.
